| The Imlay Township Board is looking for your opinion regarding a public alert system for our township. This system would allow the Township to contact you via telephone, email or cell phone regarding important information for the residents. You would have to sign up to be a part of this notification system, it would be strictly voluntary. However, it would cost the township $5000.00 to buy into it. Please let us know if this is something that you feel is important to you or if you would not be interested in using it. We will have to make a decision soon if we want it. |
Tax bills are scheduled to be mailed out on November 30, 2009. If you have a mortgage or escrow company and receive a bill yourself, please forward the bill to your mortgage company as this means that they did not request one sent to them. Taxes are due and payable from December 1, 2009 to February 15, 2010. Any amounts paid after February 15th will incur interest and penalty fees. Taxes are delinquent after March 1, 2010 and must be paid at the County Treasurer's office. |
